Ranking

VT markets ranks number 4 on TraderGuide’s ranking list. The ranking list is based on the cost of trading with VT markets, in the 16 most commonly traded instruments globally.

What you need to know about VT markets

VT markets is licensed and regulated in Australia and South Africa and is also regulated by the Mauritius Financial Services Commission (FSC). The company was founded in 2015.

VT markets is a standard MT4/MT5 broker and does not offer any other trading platforms.

Their product range is fairly broad, covering indices, forex, commodities (both soft and hard), shares, ETFs, and bonds.

What do we like about VT markets?

VT markets claims to have Lloyd’s of London insurance against claimant disputes, providing coverage of up to one million dollars per claimant. We have seen the document, although we cannot verify its authenticity.

VT markets offers reasonably competitive Bid-Ask spreads on its platform and provides access to Copy Trading. (See the next section for more on Copy Trading.)

What concerns us about VT markets?

VT markets offers Copy Trading, but it appears that certain unscrupulous traders have caused losses for followers. According to Trustpilot reviews, some users have lost money due to Copy Trading participants with poor track records. If you choose to engage in Copy Trading, make sure you thoroughly research the traders you follow.

VT markets is somewhat of a "run-of-the-mill" broker. There is nothing inherently wrong with them, but they do not particularly stand out either. Their platform offering is standard and lacks unique features.

Should you trade with VT markets?

VT markets ranks LOW on TraderGuide’s ranking list. If you open an account with VT Markets, you will be trading with a licensed company that claims to have Lloyd’s of London insurance—although we admit we are uncertain about its practical implications.

VT markets has received some criticism on social media regarding certain individuals who are allowed to offer Copy Trading. However, social media can often be one-sided, making it difficult to determine the full accuracy of these claims.

That said, we personally would not hesitate to trade with VT Markets, as their spreads are competitive.
